Jared Schomburg
Owner and Head Trainer
Jared is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) with over 20 years of training and coaching experience. He began his Personal Training career at the Rock River Valley YMCA where he was Head Trainer and instructed multiple group fitness classes for seven years. He also has experience coaching basketball (Rockford Christian High School and Rockford Elite), youth soccer, and was the Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Rockford Icehogs for two seasons.

Jared and his wife Elizabeth live in Roscoe, IL with their two sons, James and Grayson. He has a deep passion for fitness and equally enjoys training, coaching, learning, and teaching about exercise, health, nutrition, psychology, behavioral modification, and increasing longevity and health-span.
Ian Sorg
Trainer
Ian played multiple sports while at Pecatonica High School before completing an Associates Degree from Rock Valley College in Exercise Science. He also completed Rock Valley College's Personal Training Program through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). Ian has multiple years of training and coaching experience and is legitimately one of the nicest and most patient people you will ever meet!
When Ian isn't coaching at The FIT or working out he is enjoying valuable time with his family and friends.


Ciarra Hill
Trainer
Ciarra began as a member at The FIT in 2013 and gradually progressed into one of the most physically fit members in the entire gym! Fitness and nutrition have long been an important focus in her life so becoming a Certified Functional Strength Coach (CSFC) was a natural evolution, especially after she had her third child. It was at this time she realized that her body had significantly changed from the latest pregnancy which increased her interest in learning how to strengthen her postpartum body in a healthy way. This increased her desire to become a fitness coach in hopes of helping other postpartum women recover and achieve their fitness goals.
Ciarra, her husband, Aaron, and their three kids love spending time together at church and outdoors hiking, camping, and exploring.
Kate Dixon
Physical Therapist
Katie Dixon is a Rockford native who graduated from Guilford High School in 2004 and currently lives in Loves Park with her husband, JP, daughter, Payton, and dog Remi. She went on to study Business Marketing at Loyola University in Chicago as a student athlete on the softball team. Katie has always had passion for helping people, whether it be with finances, fitness, or eating healthy. After being in the workforce a couple years, Katie decided to further her abilities to help people by going back to school and getting her Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
Katie has continued to pursue her education on different aspects of physical therapy, which includes obtaining her Graston Technique Specialist certification, Selective Functional Movement Assessment Level 1 and Level 2 certifications, and Kinesio Taping Method.

Alyssa Snorek
Massage Therapist
Alyssa Snorek is a licensed massage therapist and has been practicing for 7 years. She has previously worked in three separate chiropractic clinics and really enjoys the medical perspective of massage and its benefits. Alyssa and her husband live in Rockford with their three boys.

Christina Demuro
Massage Therapist
Christina is a dedicated professional with a deep passion for holistic healing and a well-rounded background that includes experience in personal training, corrective exercise, chiropractic care, and nutrition.
She brings a wide range of skills to the table, including cupping therapy, mobility and deep stretching, Graston scraping, and sinus massage—helping clients find both relief and a renewed connection to their bodies.
Outside of work, Christina enjoys weight training, stretching, and creating a clean, peaceful home with her two cherished cats. She loves cooking nourishing meals and spending quiet time in nature, embracing a lifestyle rooted in strength, balance, and wellness.
