SMALL GROUP METABOLIC CONDITIONING
Metabolic Conditioning sessions are group interval workouts which focus on optimally training full-body strength and aerobic and anaerobic fitness. Workouts vary in format and emphasis each day, but they always cover a full spectrum of human movement (i.e. pushing, pulling, twisting, squatting, lunging, etc.). Your heart will race, your breathing will be labored, your focus will be challenged, but your goals will be met.
Energy Systems Development Training (ESD)
The FITPIT will also be the primary location for our ESD training, or as we like to refer to it, Energy Systems Development (ESD) training. Small Group Energy System Development (ESD) sessions are designed to build both aerobic and anaerobic capacity and efficiency through a wide-variety of exercises. Each session is designed to give you a challenging, full-body workout in a minimal amount of time. Each ESD will be slightly different and the main focus will be to improve the efficiency of your body’s energy expenditure through aerobic and anaerobic-based exercise while maximizing tissue elasticity and body-wide durability.
The Small Group Energy System Development training sessions will be a mix of moderate-to-high aerobic intensities and high-capacity anaerobic intensities using a variety of equipment (and oftentimes no equipment) that focus on improving the cardio-respiratory efficiency of each participant. These sessions will be of varying intensities, but they will all be designed to push your limits and ultimately improve your performance and efficiency.
Energy Systems Development Training- Low Impact
Concept 2 Rowers, Concept 2 SkiErgs, Keiser Stationary Bikes, Kettlebells, and Slideboards are phenomenal tools for challenging and increasing metabolic efficiency and building a strong foundation of endurance through low/no-impact movements. These Energy System Development sessions allow for participants to engage in high-intensity, low-impact workouts while still enjoying the company of a small group setting. The ESD-Low Impact sessions can be used to set a solid foundation of cardiovascular efficiency or as a means to augment an already impressive endurance capacity. Don't be fooled- just because it's "low- impact', it does not mean it is easier than regular ESD.
Small Group Rhythm, Bounce, and Flow (RBF)
Rhythm, Bounce, and Flow (RBF) is a small group experience unlike any other! Sessions are focused on incorporating exercises and drills that produce both rhythmic-flowing movements and rhythmic-elastic movements. RBF sessions will help participants improve shoulder mobility, hip power, elasticity, and balance. All RBF sessions are limited to 8 participants.

Strength Training (ST)
Strength Training sessions at The FIT are designed with a full-body, movement-based approach rather than the typical muscle-by-muscle philosophy found within most commercial gyms. Workouts are organized in a circuit-style format and can be adapted for each individual participant depending upon training experience and ability. Multiple trainers are available to coach each session so that exercise technique and proper form is followed by each participant; safety is always a top-priority. Every strength training session is a new and challenging experience designed to give you maximum results in minimum time.
Metabolic Resistance Training (MRT)
Small Group Metabolic Resistance Training (MRT) sessions incorporate a variety of weight lifting scenarios to maximize both cardio-respiratory fitness and full body strength in a minimum amount of time. Like its counterpart, Strength Training, MRT utilizes weights, but with medium loads and higher reps.
Metabolic Power Training (MPT)
Small Group Metabolic Power Training (MPT) sessions incorporate a variety of explosive exercise scenarios to maximize both cardio-respiratory fitness and full-body power, speed, and elasticity in a minimum amount of time.
Uncommon Strength Training (UST)
Uncommon Strength Training sessions focus on building strength, durability, and resiliency within progressive exercise sequences. These sessions are designed to improve one's movement capacity and efficiency through a structured, thoughtful approach.

One-to-One Personal Training
4 Session Package: $180

The initial session of all One-to-One Personal Training packages begins with a complete Functional Fitness Assessment in order to determine the basic movement competency and efficiency of the participant and to gather quantitative data regarding their physical measures which will be compared against future retests (usually every 8-10 weeks) to verify positive results. The Functional Fitness Assessment aids The FIT trainer in determining the exercise selection and progression for the client's fitness program. Each training session following the initial assessment session is focused on familiarizing the client with their strength and conditioning program and helping them get maximum results from their customized, progressive program.
